DIE DESIGN &

CONSTRUCTION

The experience gained in the field of zinc alloys die casting, the use of rapid prototyping software and the co-design activities undertaken together with the customer allow HDC to design and build high performance moulds characterised by innovative technical solutions. Maintenance and modifications of the moulds are also done within the in-house well equipped Tool Development Facility by skilled designers and die engineers.

DIE CASTING

HDC, with its own hot chamber die casting machines, produces more than 100 million components every year. The knowledge and mastery of die casting technology allow HDC to satisfy every customer need characterised by high degree of precision and detail, thin wall thickness, expertise in inbuilt external thread die cast components along with excellent surface quality. Inspection and testing is done in the production line and after final component is made before packing to ensure 100% reliability.

MECHANICAL OPERATIONS & FINISHING

Mechanical operations are an integral part of the production process of zinc die castings. HDC has an entire plant dedicated to precision machining. Post operations such as electroplating, barreling, shot-blasting, vibro-abrasive machining, polishing, threading, drilling, reaming and buffing are done here guaranteeing customers components that do not require further processing.
